Touch point contamination protection
We can now supply these fantastic products to stick to your door push plates, pull bars, and door handles to help keep your premises Covid safe. They work in conjunction with a robust cleaning plan to maintain their effectiveness. They don’t replace the need for regular touch point cleaning, but they do help reduce contamination.
The antimicrobial products use Silver Ion (Ag) technology, which drastically reduces the spread of bacteria.
Silver Ions (Ag) are efficient at inactivating microbes. The Silver technology targets microorganisms that kill or reduce the spread of bacteria, fungi and enveloped viruses. It works by breaking down their biological make-up in order to stop the spread and reproduction of dangerous pathogens. Kills up to 99.99% of common bacteria and superbugs as well as being effective against Coronavirus.
Staff update for Lockdown 3
During this third lockdown, Green Mop is continuing to provide our vital service to customers that need us.
Where offices might be closed and you might lose hours, we’ll continue to use the Government Furlough Scheme (subject the the Government rules). You may be offered other work, so please keep an eye on communication from the office or your Supervisors.
When working alone, please continue to maintain excellent hand hygiene, wear your mask, and keep your distance from anyone who maybe on site at the same time as you.
Where staff are working in a team, please maintain your distance from each other. Only go to the cleaning cupboard one at a time, and work in separate areas.
The work we do has never been more important. It’s vital that we carry on performing to our usual high standard to keep our customers buildings clean and safe.
Take care.

We are confident we can continue to keep our own staff safe in the provision of services, and that will help keep your offices clean and safe for those who still need to work on site.
Note that we will continue unless you inform us of your intention to close. Please let us know as soon as possible if you intend on closing or altering your requirements.
Similarly, we will keep you informed if we have reason to interrupt your services at any time.
Should you have a Covid case at your office, we are able to perform a full disinfection clean / fogging to make it safe. More information can be found here.
Covid cleans
It’s interesting that we have seen many more Covid cases occur in our customer premises recently.
As lockdown 2 got underway, many offices have remained open. They are far from fully staffed, but they are providing the office environment for those that struggle to work from home. Not everyone has a desk and space and broadband sufficient to deal with a working day.
However, this has meant that infectious people have been in the workplaces.
After a positive case, our customers can call on us to urgently schedule our Covid Clean Procedure. We have prepared Covid Kits ready to send to the affected sites. These contain the necessary products and PPE for manual disinfectant cleaning. This is backed up with a disinfectant fogging service to ensure every surface is made safe.
Our customers can return to their premises with confidence.
Adapting to new working practices
All businesses have faced many unforeseen challenges this year. For Green Mop, it has meant navigating through many new situations, both administratively and operationally.
Our staff have been incredible throughout. They’ve been flexible and helpful and adjusted to new procedures and requirements, often at very short notice. The urgency and importance of following requests and requirements correctly has never been greater. The often ignored cleaner has suddenly got a higher profile and people have learned how vital our work is.
Our team of Supervisors has been fantastic in making sure the teams are safe and have all the information and materials they need. Hard work and commitment from the whole team has been outstanding.
We couldn’t be prouder of them.
Disinfectant fogging service
Disinfectant fogging is a safe and effective way to further protect your office. It works by producing a fine mist that kills airborne viruses and bacteria while also eliminating pathogens on surfaces – particularly those not easily reached with standard cleaning methods.
To keep your employees safe and your workplace virus-free, we recommend a deep clean with a manual sanitising of all touch points and disinfectant fogging.
Disinfectant fogging can be scheduled reguarly as part of your enhanced cleaning service or as a one-off at any time. It is effective against coronaviruses, flu and H1N1 and inhibits recontamination for up to 18 hours.
The process is safe for your workplace and our workforce. It is non-toxic and nonhazardous. Additionally, it will not damage sensitive electronics, surfaces or substances.

Hand sanitiser service
Consistant supplies of hand sanitiser at sensible prices is a challenge nowadays. We have found that a serviced option secures the price and the supply for your premises. It’s a vital consumable for all.
Our hand sanitisers can be fitted throughout your premises and serviced every four or eight weeks to create a safer, more hygienic work environment for you.
With an alcohol content of 64%, these hand sanitisers are an effective way to help prevent the spread of pathogens. Perfect for reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchens and near washrooms. One cartridge provides around 1,000 applications.
Preparing a return to workplaces
As well as our regular cleaning service, we can provide
you with additional ways to keep workplace clean and healthy.
Safety first messaging mats
We can supply businesses with these messaging mats. There are clear messages about distancing and hand washing, and also disinfecting mats. See further details here.
These are likely to be very popular as lockdown eases, so get in touch if you’d like to place an order.
