Halloween Housekeepers!
Our lovely customers, Octopus, had a fancy dress day for Halloween. Rachel and Sapphire from Octopus dressed up as our famous duo, Maria and Nadia!
The Green Mop Housekeeping team work long and hard daily shifts at the lovely office site in Brighton. They are very popular with the Octopus team, and the fancy dress choice of the Office Manager and her Assistant caused much hilarity at both our offices!
Office plants
We have got some lovely green and leafy plants at Green Mop HQ. They brighten up the office and add to the pleasant atmosphere.
Until THE FLIES took over! I think they’re fungus gnats. But who knows. I am not a green fingered plant person. But the little blighters got a bit out of control. We’ve taken ‘measures’! Fly paper and some organic matter (!) which goes in the plant pots and lives off the eggs. I mean, it’s meant to be a lovely cosy plant feeling, but it’s ended up fairly horrific!

We are an office cleaning business. It’s not very glamorous. We do essential work, work that is often under-valued. So the recognition means so much.

Green Mop is run by an amazing all-female managment team. The entire company is 75% women. So we are thrilled to be able to celebrate our achievements as a business with all our hardworking Green Moppers.
We’re never the most glamorous of businesses at these things. Being a cleaning company is not very glitzy! But we do essential and important work. I always try to remind our teams of that fact. We are important. And to be recognised in this way is wonderful for the whole team.

International Women’s Day
Today we celebrate all the hardworking women who form the backbone of Green Mop.
In our team of over 60 Green Moppers, women make up around 75% of them. And they are magnificent!
All our managment team are women, and they do an amazing job of looking after the customers and the staffs needs.
Henry army
New site – new Henrys!
Our lovely customer, Octopus, finally moved into their new premises. We needed an army of new Henry Hoovers to help the Green Mop team do their hard work.
Green Mop summer picnic
Renata had the great idea that we should have a summer get together. On Sunday, we gathered together in Hove Park to enjoy beige food and frisbee fun! We were very lucky with the weather, and we had a great time.
Farewell card from Green Mopper Julian
We are very sad that our Julian is leaving us. He has been with us for a couple of years, and the time has come for him to move on. We will miss him.
Julian has left us a lovely card to say farewell. His kind words are truly appreciated and mean a lot to us all. He says in his note that he ‘always felt cared for’.
It is exactly what we aspire to be like. That our hard working cleaning team feel they are worthwhile, important, appreciated and cared for.
We have loads of great people who make Green Mop work so well. I am very happy that Julian noted how amazing both Olga and Renata are at their jobs. We are very lucky to have them..
