Using different cleaning products
Green Mop has always been an environmentally responsible cleaning company. It’s in our name after all. As we specialise in regular office and workplace cleaning, we’ve never needed to use any harsh or toxic chemicals in the work that we do.
However, during the current pandemic crisis, we’re adapting and adjusting to the reality of the dangers presented by the virus. We all know that simple soap and water can kill the virus, so it doesn’t always have to be a toxic product to be most effective. We’ve worked with our suppliers to ensure that the products we use are not extreme. But also that they are efficient and effective against an enveloped virus.
We’ve all had to learn and adjust ensure we protect each other. It’s vital that our Green Moppers work safely whilst making workplaces clean and safe for our customers, their colleagues and visitors.
Get in touch for further details on the additional products we’ve added to our stores and what tasks they are used for.

COVID-19 update for customers – 23 March 2020
Message sent to all customers on Monday 23 March:
I regret to inform that after the updated Government information over the weekend, we are pausing all office cleaning services for the time being.
We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
We will of course pause invoicing. If you have a direct debit set up with us, you don’t need to do anything as no monies will be deducted if no invoice is issued.
Once things start to return to normal, we will be offering comprehensive deep sanitising cleans for when people return to work.
Merry Christmas 2019
Another brilliant Christmas card designed by Syd! They’ve gone out to customers this week. A lot of staff are off over Christmas, having a well earned break. But there will still be Green Moppers working throughout the holiday period. The office will be closed between Christmas and New Year as usual. Have a wonderful Christmas, and wishing everyone health and happiness in 2020.EU citizens can vote in local council and EU parliament elections

Gorgeous Christmas cards – all for charity
Local designer and keen runner, Syd Hausmann, is running The London Marathon next year in aid of the MS Trust charity. She’s doing lots of fabulous things to contribute to her fundraising target. Luckily for us, she’s created these gorgeous Christmas cards. You can get them by ordering from her website here. Or we can take orders if you want to just email me here at Green Mop.
We know she has more ideas and plans for further fundraising, so expect further updates as she gets creative with her fundraising for the magnificent MS Trust.
Our gorgeous new website!
We’re very excited to have our new website live. It was created by a superstar collaboration between Syd Hausmann Design and Zone 1 Creative.
Their brief was to create something modern, simple, clean and bright. And it’s all of those things. We love it!
