What does the Green Mop service cost?
Every job is different, so we’ll be happy to come and quote for your cleaning needs. We aim to design a green cleaning plan to suit your budget!
Our assessment takes the following into account:
- Number of hours required to clean to a high standard based on area, specification and frequency.
- Pay rate necessary to attract the right calibre staff in the area.
- Cost of equipment, materials, uniforms, training, and overheads.

What’s wrong with chemical cleaning?
Many of the ingredients contained in conventional cleaning products are known to have detrimental and damaging effects on the environment.
The dangers are not only to the environment at large, but also your home or workplace environment. They can be harmful to you, your colleagues and clients, and to your cleaners. Here at Green Mop we only use ever use environmentally friendly products.
What products do you use?
We use old fashioned products like white vinegar and soda crystals. We also use modern cleaning products that are environmentally friendly and people friendly. The products we use minimise harmful effects on the planet and on your health.
We buy in bulk and use concentrates which are diluted for use in refillable bottles.
We also use washable microfibre cloths. These mean we can use minimal amounts of cleaning products, and we don’t use throw-away cloths!
We do not compromise on our green credentials.

We never use agency staff. All our staff enjoy full employment rights and get a fair wage for their hard work. They are all well trained and motivated.
We vet any job applicants thoroughly before getting them on board. Then they are fully trained to do things our way.
Green Mop training includes cleaning practices, health & safety and customer care.

Can you supply consumables?

It is possible that your company will be affected by the TUPE rules. Incoming contractors are obliged to take over and manage the outgoing contractor’s entire cleaning team.
If the same staff stay on, how will Green Mop improve the service?
Green Mop will retrain all staff to our standards. The staff will be given clear objectives.
We will closely monitor performance and deal with any issues swiftly. Disciplinary action will be taken where necessary.
